Chongqing - “Walking in China · 2023 Overseas Chinese Media High-Level Chongqing-Sichuan Tour” was officially launched in Chongqing on Monday。

　　On Monday afternoon, the opening ceremony was held in Chongqing Jiangbei District. The construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle will be the main topic of discussion during the visits. The tour in Chongqing lasts from April 10 to April 15. A total of 28 Chinese-language media outlets from 21 nations will travel to Chongqing’s Jiangbei District, Liangjiang New Area, Tongnan District, and Rongchang District。

　　Representatives from overseas Chinese media outlets will visit Chongqing and see the industrial layout, modernization, technological innovation, business environment, distinctive cultural tourism, and rural revitalization of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. The tour will give them firsthand experience and provide a window for more people to know about the development achievements and potential of the region. The event serves as a bridge to showcase the high-quality development of Chongqing and Sichuan to the world。

　　“Walking in China · Overseas Chinese Media High-Level Tour” has been successfully organized and implemented in Chongqing six times since 2015. One hundred six senior media people from 89 overseas Chinese-language media outlets in 48 countries and regions conducted on-site interviews in 15 districts and counties in Chongqing and visited 170 sites. It has promoted the cities' image and foreign investment。
